Yippee!!! After a 3-day long 90+ degree weekend, summer is here! At least in Chicago! We spent most of the weekend downtown, going to doggie beach on Saturday and Sunday. Lucy absolutely loved it, and got to stay with her friends Buddy and Eve and swim with her friend (1/2 cousin) Colby in Lake Michigan. She was not very happy on Monday since she felt like she was being punished and had to go to the groomer’s to have all the algae cut/shaved out of her fur. But she does look pretty cute now!
Earlier this month, I met my sisters, nephews, and Dad in NC to visit my Grandma and her new condo, and my Aunt Barb, Uncle Chris, and cousin Ashley. Chase and Cole got a taste of early summer and spent some time lounging in the backyard pool. Another great weekend getaway!!
